  Ate here a couple of years ago and had a fantastic seafood meal. Went there for my birthday this week with 4 people. The young lady attending to us was pleasant but in experienced. The male barman/manager was cranky and hostile. We had to find our own cutlery and napkins from another table as the bucket on ours had not been refilled. The steaks were overpriced for the quality, the Squid entree was so chewy you needed a steak knife to cut it. Just as well they refused to serve it in a main size. On the other hand the $15 Schnitzel special was huge and nice.Overpriced, average amenity, poor service and limited seafood for a waterfront restaurant. Go to a pub instead.

  Hamilton’s is in a superb spot in Tuncurry and started as a great restaurant. Last night our experience was disappointing: the food, the service and the ordering. Firstly the table for four people was completely inadequately small, we had to put our wine etc on the floor. We had oysters with a caper crust-more like lumps of stale bread, and the squid had a tasteless dressing. The steak and parmigiana were both large but tasteless and the chips were cold; the seafood platter was very poorly presented- the octopus was inedible, bread was burnt and the dressing was bland and obviously straight out of the bottle. The ordering system is reminiscent of a canteen not a restaurant, having to go to the bar mid-meal and queue up is totally wrong, especially for the prices you are charged. Sadly we are locals but we won’t be be going back for another meal.

  Absolutely stunning service and food. Pricing and views are also terrific. I enjoyed a lovely night out looking over the sunset on a gorgeous and beguiling night with my family, thank you Hamilton's!! I will always cherish this memory dearly to my heart, my relatives will never forget these benevolent staff and prices. So once again I say THANK YOU, I am crying tears of happiness right now

  Stunning water views from the shaded seating out on the deck. Indoors is a big open space filled with natural light. Relaxed, casual vibe with meals that are generously portioned and tasty. Some may find the service a little too laid back.

  Food was okay, but service was absolutely appalling. The manager was rude. 2 meals from our 6 arrived 1 hour later and only after several requests, and came with a terrible attitude.
