Only other option anywhere nearby was Taree (appears to be run by the same people) which had slightly larger screens but the same expensive tickets and strict/overbearing policies...

Staff were not welcoming at all and didn't bother to acknowledge us until they were ready. We stood at the counter for some time while they got themselves organised ignoring us. When we went to line up at the cinema the lady was cleaning the cinema ( 4 minutes prior to the film). She saw us standing there ignored us and closed the doors. Cinema was comfortable and once we were in we closed our memories of the staff and enjoyed the film. A smile and comment ' wewill be with you in a few minutes' would go a long way in making us feel welcom

Absolutely the worst experience at a cinema in years I went to see Star Wars the last Jedi with family and friends Was totally disappointed this was my first trip to the cinema since moving to town the cinema smelled like my Great Great Auntys house musk damp and carpet that hasn’t been cleaned in 30years the air conditioning wasn’t on so it was hot as hell. the speakers were something that should be displayed in a museum and as for the screen despite having to look up at the screen with no neck support I’ve seen bigger tv’s for sale at JB HI FI ( not that much of an exaggeration) and forget about kicking back and resting your head and relaxing the chairs only come about half way up your back and tiny I’ve not been so close to my sister in years. Let’s hope the new cinema in forster is built soon going to the movies is one of my favourite things to do and for the money that they are charging approx $30 for ticket and drink and popcorn per person it’s a disgrace and a rip off I suggest the owner take a trip to Sydney and hit George st or broadway cinemas and see what a cinema is supposed to look like (I know I know this isn’t Sydney it’s a small town but seriously the cinemas in Tamworth were better in the 90’s then this place in 2017). We were all talking about going to see Jumanji when it comes out we will be driving to Port Macquarie or Newcastle to do so prefer to spend the extra cash on fuel and enjoy the experience then sit through that again we won’t give this place another cent until it’s brought up to a modern standard

Tiny cinema, relatively expensive tickets and overly strict policies make for a pretty poor movie experience...
